Strangers in the Night

VERSE 1
I’d just finished off my Curry & Rice,
And I admit, yeah, It was nice
I’m a Redbridge geezer, I built up twice,
Opened the Fridge Freezer, & put one on ice
The time was about 6 P M,
I had to meet my boys at 10
I sparked up a J as I left the East end,
& finished it off when, I arrived at Big Ben
Right in front, Sun’s on the Horizon,
Behind me, the night was rising
I was out in the streets without realising
I’d left on my bracelet where thieves were enterprising
My jewels had already been seen,
By eyes, Lean on green
I was blatantly playing the Guillotine,
I shouldn’t have responded when he asked me for Nicotine
He capitalised & asked for a light,
Surely this cant be right?
Figures started appearing in the gloomy night,
& the message in their eyes was “you and me fight”
I was outnumbered 10 to 1,
"Damn, what have I done"
I was surrounded, and I couldn’t run
All I could think was “I wish I had a gun”

CHORUS
Strangers in the night…
Wanna come and fight…
They don’t even know me. . .
What do they think they owe me ?

Chill Grizzly, This world is Crazy

VERSE 2
Doing a favour for a stranger,
Could lead to danger
Giving someone the Benefit of the Doubt,
Could lead to all of your benefits being drained out
Anyway, Back to the story I started,
Trying to avoid getting clarted
I managed to break away and departed,
But they all gave chase, cause this town’s cold hearted
Finally lost them later than sooner,
I Hid behind a Laguna
Accidentally made eye contact with a Space Cruiser
Full of thugs and losers, all Drug Abusers
They’re stepping out looking for action,
I couldn’t handle their faction
The knife against my arm gave me a bad reaction.
I had to grow balls, one by one I sacked ‘em
Dispersed from the scene, half jacked,
Thankful I didn’t get smacked
I lost my mobile so I can’t phone my pack,
There’s nothing left to do but turn around and head back
Returned home like a True Leader,
Restricting blood from my seizure
I got to work with a needle and a tweezer,
As I chilled on the spliff that I left in my freezer
